Different port types require different versions of QEMU:
dpdkrports: patched 1.6.2
dpdkvhostports (cuse): 1.6.2 (or 2.1+ provided the cmd line parameters are modified apropirately)
dpdkvhostuserports: 2.2

At the moment, for dpdkvhostuserport tests, the user must modify the QEMU_DIR varaible in the settings.py file to point to a build of QEMU 2.2 prior to running the test.
This DoD of this story is for this not to be necessary, eg. to auto-set the QEMU_DIR to the necessary QEMU version depending on the port type used in the test being executed.
