OVS Command time out is hard coded to 10 seconds in ofctl.py but its only set there and not passed from any place in vswitch modules which call upon ofctl.py. This should be configurable in a conf file to allow for some leniency with different systems to prevent unnecessary error messages. Some version of DPDK/OVS combinations are slower to create a netdev bridge which can result in an error message even though the command succeeds. Allowing for the time out to be configurable would add options to prevent this.
