To use Yardstick for deploying VNFs and provisioning the network to test VSPERF scenarios we should find out how the vloop VNF can be deployed in Open Stack.with multiple interfaces.

How vloop VNF can be ingested into Glance?
How vloop VNF can be configured and deployed?
Do Nova networking capabilities allow the needed control?

Following subtasks are expected:

• modification of vloop-vnf to start loopback application automatically, e.g. add available NICs into linux bridge
• enhance sample yardstick TC to mimic PVP scenario
• based on experience from previous tasks we should propose further enhancements to support 1 and 2 nics per VM and multiple VM in parallel (serial would be tricky due to need of OVS reprogramming or routing table changes => modification of OpenStack configuration on the fly)
